OMNIFIQUE STAYS INCLUDE

*COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH YACHT CHARTER
Yachts have an advertised weekly charter rate in USD, which includes the professional crew and chef.

VAT / Taxes
Please note that charters may be subject to VAT or local taxes depending on the port of embarkation and itinerary.
Applicable Tax/VAT is paid at the time of the final installment.
2.5% tax for charters starting in Costa Rica.

Delivery/Re-Delivery Fee
There may be a position or repositioning charge if the charter involves meeting or leaving the yacht away from its home port.

“Advance Provisioning Allowance” (APA)
Typically 30% of the total charter rate is collected to cover your estimated costs in food, beverage, fuel, dockage, transfers, incidentals, etc. All expenses are paid out of the charterer’s APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance). Anything not used in the APA account is returned to the charterer.

Crew Gratuity
In addition to the above, if one enjoys the service provided by the crew one may wish to offer them a gratuity. While the level is completely at the Charterer’s discretion, we normally recommend that a gratuity of 10% to 18% of the charter fee as satisfactory. One may wish to leave more than 18%. The Captain will disburse the gratuity amongst the crew, unless you would like to personally reward an individual that has been particularly outstanding. There are times when the positive balance in the APA can be used towards the gratuity.
