Dating back to the 14th century and situated just outside of Florence, Terracotta is ideally located in

the heart of Chianti’s countryside, making it a great base for exploring the towns and cities of Tuscany. The palatial Estate spreads over five buildings and hosts up to 44 guests in its 20 bedrooms . This magnificent property was once owned by a family of painters and used to host some of the most well-known artists of the Renaissance Era including Raffaello, Pontormo and Botticelli.

Nowadays, guests can completely unwind in the picturesque setting with rolling green hills as a backdrop and surrounded by 30 acres of vineyards, olive groves, forest and a lake producing excellent olive oil. 

Outdoors, enjoy two swimming pools, landscaped gardens, and panoramic walkways or basque in the wellness center with a Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, and sauna.
