Winter isn’t just about the holidays. These are the months when people are looking for opportunities to ski, new slopes to glide down, and gorgeous white snow to enjoy. So, how do we prepare our homes and make them super ski-friendly for guests? Here are some of our ideas…
Kit Out Our Homes With Cool Ski Stuff
While providing skis, jackets, snowboards, and some of the more expensive and personalized equipment is unnecessary, it’s a really nice touch for guests to arrive and have access to a box of ski-related goodies that they can use during their stay.
For example, scarves, boots, hats, goggles, and gloves. We can also go one step further with a stylish set of ski poles or recommendations for ski apps that guests can download and help them access some of the best local routes, slopes, and ski-resort opening times available. Another cool idea is a thermos flask to take with them up on the slopes or a ski gadget that monitors how many meters they ski, how high they climb, or how fast they go.
When you put your mind to it, the ideas are endless. They just need to be thoughtful and useful. The idea is that these goodies simply enhance the overall skiing experience for our guests and set your home apart from others that aren’t as well equipped for the season.
Creating a Welcome Ski Pack full of Fun Facts and Practical Tips
Imagine just how inviting it is for guests to receive a personalized pack listing all the best slopes for beginners and advanced skiers; the best moments of the day to go skiing to catch the light over the mountains at just the right time; the best slopes from which you can take the most breathtaking photographs.
Delicious Ski-Season Treats
A traditionally-iced sponge cake, shaped to represent the local area’s ski slopes, or maybe some tasty white-chocolate cookies, shaped to represent skiers. Getting creative with ski-inspired welcome treats for guests to enjoy upon their arrival. Not only are these kinds of goodies a really personal touch, but they’re also lots of fun and help inject the excitement of ski-season into every home.
