Omnifique recently got together for an interview with the fabulous private chef Joshua Ferris to tell us a bit more about himself and divulge some of his favorite ingredients that work so well in his signature dishes.
How long you have been a Private Chef? Tell us a little about you?
I have been a private chef for four years prior to a short career in finance. I am truly passionate about warming people’s hearts with amazing food!
What are Colorado’s favorite local ingredients or products that you like to use in your cooking?
I am so fortunate to work with many different local farmers which allows me to have access to the most amazing, organic and seasonal produce.
When in season, I love to pull over on the side of the highway and grab a case of hatch chiles! It makes the best salsa roja that you can put on anything!
I love having access to local, organic beef and game meats.
What is your favorite dish that all our Omnifique guests should request? and why?
Omnifique guests must try my homemade papardelle pasta with Bolognese. It is topped with parmigiano reggiano and fresh parsley.
