Aspen Art Museum: The Aspen Art Museum opened its doors in 2014, quickly becoming one of the most gravitating art institutions in the USA. Director Heidi Zuckerman brings in some of the world’s best contemporary artists for group and solo exhibitions year-round. In addition to the six galleries, the museum has a café, bookstore, and museum shop.
Wheeler Opera House: Constructed in the late 1800’s, this opera house has been an entertainment staple in the Roaring Fork Valley for over a century. Today, this venue continues to be an Aspen gem hosting a wide variety of festivals, concerts, film screenings, and plays.
Retail Therapy: With over 200 stores to choose from, there’s no shortage of shopping in this quaint town. Explore the consignment gems, eclectic boutiques, and designer shops.
Where to Eat
Matsuhisa: A Japanese and Peruvian fusion restaurant featuring the cuisine of world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
Clark’s Oyster Bar: This chic neighborhood spot offers a great raw bar, house baked sourdough, fresh fish, and lobster rolls. For some quality seafood, this restaurant is our go-to.
